From “AI ignores us” to a live WordPress article — in one click
Geotally doesn't just show you where AI ignores your brand — it drafts the fix and publishes it to your WordPress site in one click. Most AI visibility tools stop at the dashboard. This is the other half: measurement and treatment, in the same product.
Here's the problem with every AI visibility tracker on the market: they end at the chart. You learn that Perplexity recommends three competitors when buyers ask "best CRM for agencies" — and then you're on your own. Open a doc, brief a writer, wait two weeks, paste into WordPress, fill the SEO fields by hand, and hope.
Geotally closes that gap in one sitting.
How it works
1. Find the gap. The Action Plan reads your tracking data and surfaces the prompts where an engine cites competitors but not you — ranked by how winnable each one is, with the exact pages the engine currently pulls from.
2. Generate the draft. One click produces a complete, answer-shaped article targeted at that prompt: a direct answer up front, question-style subheadings, a comparison table where it helps, an FAQ with valid FAQPage JSON-LD, and outbound links to authoritative sources. It's written to out-answer the pages the engine cites today — using only facts you've provided about your brand. No invented claims.
3. Publish it. Connect your WordPress site once (a standard Application Password — no plugin required to publish), then send any draft as a WP draft for review or straight to live. Every publish includes:
- SEO fields filled — SEO title, meta description, and focus keyword written into Yoast SEO or Rank Math (whichever your site runs), exactly as if you'd typed them in the editor
- A branded featured image — a clean 1200×630 hero card generated and uploaded automatically, with keyword alt text
- Internal links resolved — the draft links to real, relevant posts already on your site, matched by title. No match, no link — never a broken one
- A short, keyword-bearing URL — no 90-character slugs
- FAQPage schema embedded when your WordPress user can post it
4. Watch the flip. After you publish, Geotally keeps running that prompt on your normal cadence. The day the engine starts citing your brand, the item flips to Won automatically — "published June 30, cited July 12." That's the line you show your boss or your client.
The fine print on SEO fields
WordPress silently ignores Yoast and Rank Math fields sent over its API unless a plugin has registered them — a detail most integrations get wrong and report success anyway. We detect it honestly: if your site can't accept the fields, we tell you, and our free BD Connector plugin (one file, no settings, no data collection) unlocks them. Install it, re-test, done. Articles publish fine either way — the SEO fields are the only thing it gates.
Per-brand connections
Each brand connects to its own WordPress site, so an agency can run five clients with five separate connections. Credentials are encrypted at rest, never shown again after you save them, and every publish is scoped to the brand's own site — internal links resolve against the right content.
What about other platforms?
WordPress ships first because it runs the plurality of the sites our customers own. Under the hood, publishing is platform-agnostic — WordPress is one adapter behind a common interface — and Ghost, Shopify blogs, and Webflow are next on the roadmap. If one of those (or something else) is what you publish on, tell us — the queue is ordered by real requests. In the meantime, every draft has copy-ready Markdown, HTML, and JSON-LD export, so no platform is locked out.
What it costs
Nothing beyond your plan. Publishing is included on every paid tier — Starter, Growth, and Agency. The only metered work is generating the draft itself; pushing it to WordPress, the featured image, the SEO fields, and the win detection are all free.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install a plugin to publish?
No. Publishing works with a standard WordPress Application Password over the core REST API. The optional free BD Connector plugin is only needed if you want the Yoast/Rank Math SEO fields filled automatically — WordPress blocks those fields over its API unless a plugin registers them.
Which SEO plugins are supported?
Yoast SEO and Rank Math. Geotally detects which one your site runs, writes the SEO title, meta description, and focus keyword into its fields, and verifies the values actually saved — it never claims success on a silent failure.
Does it publish live without asking?
Only if you choose to. Every publish offers two options: create a WordPress draft for your review, or publish live immediately. Re-publishing updates the same post instead of creating duplicates.
Where does the featured image come from?
It's a branded 1200×630 hero card generated automatically for each article — title, brand, and site domain on a clean gradient — and uploaded to your media library with keyword alt text. No stock photos, no extra image fees.
Is my WordPress password safe?
You connect with an Application Password (revocable anytime from your WordPress profile), not your login password. It's encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and never displayed again after you save it.
How do I know if the article worked?
Geotally keeps running the target prompt on your plan's cadence after you publish. When the engine starts citing your brand, the item flips to Won automatically, with the date — e.g. 'cited 12 days after publishing.'
Do you support Ghost, Webflow, or Shopify?
Not yet — WordPress is the first platform, and Ghost, Shopify blogs, and Webflow are next on the roadmap. Publishing is built on a platform-agnostic adapter layer, so new CMSs slot in without changing your workflow. Until then, every draft exports as Markdown, HTML, and JSON-LD for pasting into any platform.
